Born and raised in Bari, Francesco Catacchio received his training in light design with Vincent Longuemare, Paolo Baroni, Lucio Diana.
He has been assistant light designer for Vincent Longuemare since 1993, and as light designer has worked with Susanne Linke, Marinella Anaclerio and Flavio Albanese, Carmela Vincenti, ResExtensa, Teatro Kismet, La Biennale di Venezia, and Gen Verde for the inauguration of the Asian Olympic Games in Korea, 2002.
He is light and tour technician for Teatro delle Albe, Ravenna Teatro, Raffaella Giordano, Teatro Kismet OperA.
